Jennifer Eldridge

Jennifer Eldridge developed a passion for helping people from a very young age. She also knows the value of hard work. It should be no surprise that these values would steer her towards a career in the legal profession.

Her legal career began after she earned dual undergraduate degrees in Paralegal Studies and Business Administration from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She worked as a paralegal for a large hospital system in Kalamazoo, Michigan and then went on to work for a sports management and law firm in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan for several years.

Jennifer's experiences as a paralegal provided first-hand knowledge of how the law can aid people and provide justice for those in unfortunate circumstances. It also cultivated her belief in strong client relationships, especially in the areas of communication and honesty. While she enjoyed her work, Jennifer realized there was so much more she could do to help people if she became an attorney. In 2002, she enrolled in the evening program at Michigan State University College of Law while continuing to work full-time. After five years, she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2007. Prior to joining Williams and Swee, she worked for an Urbana based law firm where she practiced in the areas of mass tort litigation, class actions, personal injury, automobile wrecks and estate planning.

Jennifer continues her tradition of passion and hard work for clients here at Williams and Swee. Since joining the firm in January 2016, she concentrates her practice on personal injury, automobile wrecks, social security disability and workers' compensation.

Jennifer takes an active and attentive approach to her legal practice. She believes in the value of listening to a client's story so that she can be a better advocate for that client. Jennifer feels that the client deserves to understand their case from their initial visit to completion. She knows the uncertainty and questions that can arise when dealing with the unknown and she strives to make sure that her clients understand and are comfortable with the legal process each step of the way.

Jennifer is licensed in both Illinois and Michigan. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Michigan State Bar Association, McLean County Bar Association and Champaign County Bar Association. Away from the practice of law, Jennifer keeps busy with her husband and their three active children.
